Dr. Erin Switzer

Owner/Optometrist

Dr. Erin Switzer grew up in Freelandville, Indiana, and currently resides in Marshall with her husband Troy and five cats. She completed her undergraduate education at Vincennes University majoring in Chemistry Education and graduated from Optometry school at the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2014. She started Eyes on Main in 2023 to fill the need for quality eye care in her community. She enjoys caring for and connecting with patients of all ages.

Dr. Erin enjoys disc golf, video games, playing with her cats, and hiking. She loves traveling and is a bit of a foodie. She is currently studying Spanish to aid in her travels and help her better connect with her Spanish-speaking patients.

Ashley Archer

Finance Manager

Ashley Archer is a face you won’t often see in the office, but she is working remotely to keep the financial side of Eyes on Main flowing smoothly. Ashley graduated from the University of Evansville and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in HealthService Administration. After working fifteen years in the medical and dental field, she changed careers and is now a middle school English teacher at North Knox Junior Senior High School. She looks forward to helping patients with any questions they have regarding insurance or payment concerns.

Ashley currently lives in Freelandville, Indiana, with her husband, two children, one old pit bull, and a cat who thinks he runs the house. She loves to read, travel, and watch her kids in their various sports and activities.

Kayla Weaver

Optical Manager

Kayla Weaver is an Optician with nine years of experience dedicated to helping people feel seen and heard with their eye care needs and beyond. She has been married for a decade and blessed with two wonderful children, Jericho and JoyAnna, and also 2 pets, Luna the cat, and Kam the dog.

Beyond the optical world, she and her husband lead a dynamic discipleship ministry in Crawford County, Illinois, where they enjoy witnessing countless lives undergo a positive transformation. They are passionate about community engagement and fostering meaningful connections with those around them.

Kayla loves to read in her spare time, one of her favorite authors being John Comer. She also likes to sing and really enjoys music. Someday when her babies are grown, she would like to like to pick back up her love of writing and write a book. Lastly, she always enjoys a good dad-joke.

Sloane Conley

Clinical Coordinator

Sloane Conley was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. She is an avid golfer and received a full tuition golf scholarship to Saint Mary of the Woods where she earned her bachelor’s degree.

She worked in the Special Collections department at the Vigo County Public Library for 5 years before joining Eyes on Main. She is passionate about serving others and will be available to assist patients with all their eye care needs–whether it be scheduling an appointment, filling out online forms, picking out frames, and the list goes on.

Sloane currently resides in Marshall with her husband Andrew, who is a Marshall police officer, and their pets, a dog named Blue and a cat named Chubby.

Kealy Atherton

Office Coordinator

Kealy Atherton was raised in the country of Annapolis, IL and currently lives in Marshall, IL with her grandparents and beloved dog, Marley. Before joining Eyes on Main, Kealy worked full time as a server at Joe’s Italian Food in Robinson, IL for 10 years. She still works there part time when she’s not assisting patients. She also has 2 years of experience as an eye care technician and is looking forward to her future in the optical world!

During her time at Joe’s, she gained a depth of service and love for people. She truly has a heart for people and a desire to serve her community. Outside of work, Kealy loves quality time with family and friends. She also loves to travel anywhere with a beach and Marley never misses an adventure with her! She loves music and serving weekly at her church. Lastly, she loves a good red lipstick and an iced coffee!
