Dr. Erin decided she wanted to be a healthcare provider at a young age. Most of the women in her family work in healthcare and she wanted to carry on their legacy. She graduated from Vincennes University in 2010 with a degree in Chemistry education and from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2014.
She has practiced optometry in various settings and locations in Illinois and Indiana for the past 10 years. During those years, she learned a lot about the industry of optometry. She took that knowledge and decided to improve the standard of eye care for both the employees and patients of Eyes on Main. She has worked in many optometry practices where the staff are overworked and underpaid. Dr. Erin truly appreciates the work her staff does to aid her in caring for patients, so they will be fairly compensated and treated with the respect they deserve. She has also seen patients treated differently based on their personal or financial situations. Patients with less financial means did not always get the same time or attention as their more affluent peers. She has created an office where every patient, regardless of their situation, will be treated with kindness and will receive high-quality care. She has teamed up with optometric and non-optometric organizations to ensure that she and her staff will be well-versed in the best practices for patient care and flow. We are excited to show the community the Eyes on Main difference!
